Abstract: Gas emissions frequently occurred during the construction of the Quletage No.2 tunnel on the Kuer railway. After analyzing the causes of the gas emissions, gas components, and variations of the gas concentrations, comprehensive treatment measures against this phenomena were adopted, ensuring the safety of construction and operation of the tunnel.
