Abstract:
In the construction of the metro line Z1 in Tianjing, the enclosing diaphragm wall had a deepest point of 67m. The line passed through a silt layer 18m thick and was constructed in the winter, so the correct application of slurry was very important. Based on the technical specifications and actual construction of this line, this paper addresses the performance index of slurry used in this project and the measures that were adopted to control its quality.
