Abstract：
The Southern Hongshan Road section that runs underneath the Hongshan Zoo will accommodate a 150m-long shallow tunnel group consisting of a two-way four-lane vehicle tunnel, a pipe gallery tunnel, and a non-motor vehicle tunnel. It will be characterized by a multi-arch tunnel, a small-distance tunnel, and overlapping tunnels on different levels. The stratum mainly consists of a quaternary soil layer with full-, strong- and moderate-weathered diorite and breccia limestone, and includes local karst caves of different rock strengths. This paper simulaes analyzes the design and construction methods of the multi-level tunnel group.
