Abstract: Safety and quality control are top priorities in tunnelling due to the high risks associated with tunnel construction, and effective safety and quality control measure are key research topics for tunnel constructions. Based on the practices used in the Lanzhou-Chongqing railway, this paper introduces a new pattern of safety and quality control in tunnel construction, which combines technical means with administrative organization management.
