Abstract: Due to a continuous rainstorm, pipeline breakage, water inflow, and a road collapse occurred during the construction of the running tunnel from Yongningmen station to Nanshaomen Station of the Xi'an metro. The emergency response plan was initiated in time and the comprehensive treatment measures, such as reinforcement of the tunnel arch springing, umbrella support, and grouting, were adopted, effectively controlling tunnel deformation and ensuring safe and rapid tunnel construction.
