Abstract: In general, temporary steel bridges and concrete bridges are used as traffic access roads at construction sites of metro and municipal works. This paper introduces the application and development of temporary bridges and analyzes and describes in detail the type, design, construction, cautions, merits and drawbacks of temporary bridges, which is a good guide and reference for the design and construction of similar works.
