Abstract:
In order to illustrate the deformation law and anti-floating method for the flexible bottom plate of a deep-foundation with a high water level, research has been done concerning the countermeasures and designs based on certain engineering works. Using numerical simulation, the laws relative to deformation and force characteristics of a flexible bottom plate in a large foundation pit with a high water level were established. Based on these studies, the prescribed measures for uplift piles were optimized.
