Abstract Multi-source seismic interferometry is a newly developed geophysical prediction method in recent years. The future of this method is promising in the field of tunnel geological prediction since it can directly use seismic waves excited by blasting excavation and TBM cutters to predict the geological conditions in front of tunnel face, the construction won′t be affected and the prediction cost decrease thereof. However it is more difficult for the imaging of geological prediction due to the complexity of actual seismic source and tunnel construction environment. By means of numerical simulation, the theoretical results of multi-source seismic interferometry method for tunnel geological prediction were simulated in condition of TBM and drill-and-blast construction, and the effects of acquisition time, source excitation delay time, distribution of seismic source and receiving points on imaging results were studied.
