Abstract Nonlinear analysis is a technical approach to obtain important basic data for the seismic design and safety risk evaluation of important buildings in developed countries. The paper carried out the aseismic analysis of tunnels in soft rocks with large deformations by nonlinear method, accurately simulating the nonlinear characteristics of materials and demonstrating the behavior of buildings during intensive earthquakes. With the development of railway construction, nonlinear analysis will play a significant role for the aseismic design of tunnels, bridges and large station buildings.
