Abstract Based on the shield-driven Hangzhou Metro line 1 beneath the Genshanmen marshalling station, the risks which may encounter is analyzed, and the corresponding countermeasures and parameters are proposed. To avoid serious track displacement, the option of reinforcement in separate blocks is presented regarding the shield driven area. Finally the effect of reinforcement is analyzed.
