Abstract In this paper it describes the definition and necessity of the RAMS management pattern in urban rail transit construction. Taking the reference of domestic standard of GB/T 21562-2008, it presents the general contents, process, core phase and duty segregation regarding the RAMS management work. Based on the management pattern and experience in Shenzhen Metro Line 3, it discusses the RAMS management pattern being appropriate for domestic urban rail transit construction in China.
