Abstract Based on the static and dynamic finite element analysis, a hybrid discrete element model is established in terms of the interaction between the foundation pit and the tunnel structure, in order to analyze the influence of the foundation pit construction on the tunnel structural mechanic behaviors under different excavation depths, spacing, dimensions, etc and the vibration response characteristics of the tunnel. The results show that: the aforesaid factors have significant effects on the static deformation and vibration response of the tunnel. Combining with the engineering practice and the calculation results, this paper provides some relevant control measures.
