Abstract Construction of the tunnel passing through active fault zone often causes collapse and structure instabil? ity. The weight of each risk factor is determined by analyzing the risk factors of the highway tunnel passing through active fault zone, tunnel collapse and structure instability are analyzed by using attribute measure theory, and a risk evaluation model of the tunnel passing through active fault zone is established. The practical engineering application effect indicates the evaluation model can analyzes the tunnel risks quantitatively and provide a new method and approach for the similar projects.
