Abstract:
As for the sudden change of light and shade at the entrance and exit of highway tunnel group, the influ? ence of light and shade effect on drivers can be reduced by setting a dimming device at the entrance and exit of highway tunnel group. In this paper the definition of highway tunnel group is given from the perspective of disaster prevention and rescue, and driving vision; considering the operation characteristics of the highway tunnel group, the shading shed is selected as the light reducing facility, and two design modes, e.g. the connected and unconnected shading sheds are given according to the spacing between the tunnels; the light transmittance and length of shading shed at connection section of the tunnel group are designed with reference to the visual adaptation curve. The research results can provide reference for the awning design of similar highway tunnel groups.
