Abstract:
Based on the construction of Guanyinyan tunnel of Hunan-Guangxi railway capacity expansion project, which passes through the water-rich ground, this paper first introduces the advanced geological prediction methods applied to the railway tunnel construction in the water-rich section. In view of the water inrush and mud inrush event encountered in the process of tunnel excavation, the comprehensive technical means such as shotcrete incorporated with steel mesh and anchor bolt, concrete blocking wall, mortar anchor bolt, curtain grouting and advanced pipe roof are adopted for disaster treatment. According to the advanced geological prediction results, the waterproof and drainage measures and construction scheme for the tunnel crossing the water-rich ground are optimized to ensure the safety of tunnel construction and operation.
