Abstract:
Aiming at the challenge of large deformation control at the crucial mountain ridge section of a soft rock single-track railway tunnel under high geostress, two kinds of construction schemes of‘resisting after releasing” and“releasing after resisting”were proposed. By means of site test and monitoring, the effect of various excavation and support procedures on deformation of four-layer support structure (three layers of primary support + one layer of steel concrete lining) with curved wall was analyzed and summarized, the deformation law of each support layer was obtained. The results show that the deformation control concept of“resisting goes before releasing and resisting is preferred ”is recommended considering construction safety and time efficiency of this crucial mountain ridge section and taking full advantage of time-space effect of deformation control.
