Abstract:
In order to study the coupling effect of creep and seepage on foundation excavation in soft soil, a study on the water pressure, pile displacement, ground surface settlement and bottom heaving of soft soil foundation pit after piling under different calculation conditions are conducted based on creep and seepage analysis modes of FLAC3D by taking the Qianhaiwan station excavation of Shenzhen metro Line 11 as the background. The results show that:(1) both seepage and creep have significant impact on deformation of foundation pit and the mutual effect must be considered so as to ensure the simulated results comply with the actual results; (2) during foundation pit excavation, the values and positions of maximum pile displacements at both sides of foundation pit are of exponential decay relationship to excavation time, while the values of maximum ground surface settlement are of slow linear growth relationship to excavation time except for rapid increasing in the course of dewatering; (3) with the increase of phreatic water level, the maximum pile displacements and the maximum ground surface settlements at both sides of foundation pit decrease linearly.
