Abstract The construction quality of prefabricated integrated arcuate members is a key element in construction of large-diameter shield tunnel, so it is necessary to establish effective and rational control criteria for the construction quality of prefabricated integrated arcuate members. In light of this, the construction quality control criteria for the prefabricated sub-rail structure or box culvert of the existing projects are reviewed, the composition and construction process of prefabricated integrated arcuate members are explained, the construction quality control criteria for prefabricated integrated arcuate members are proposed, and the criteria are practiced in actual works. As the results indicate, construction of the arcuate members that are built under the criteria proposed has high efficiency and good quality, and the members perform well in service.
