Abstract:
Horizontal rotary jet grouting makes use of high-pressure spray to break surrounding rock and mixes cement paste with rocks by means of rotary stirring to form columnar consolidated piles, while routine grouting can not fully penetrate the ground and improve it. The paper analyses the construction difficulties of horizontal jet piles and the suitable geological conditions for this technique, and the application of water-stopping installation at the mouths of bore holes in the jet grouting to prevent motar escaping, collapsing and pile breaking.
