Abstract:
In light of the features of the highly deformed surrounding rock around a soft rock tunnel in Triassic stratum on the Lanzhou-Chongqing railway (and other tunnels in soft rock with similar deformations), the geological factors and conditions affecting deformation were analyzed in order to explore the mechanism of soft rock deformation. A semi-quantification forecasting system for the classification of soft rock with high ground stress was built based on the results of the advanced geological forecast TSP.
