Abstract:
The requirements for the normal operation of high-speed railways are harsh on the settlement of ballastless tracks, making it tough to pass under the subgrade of an existing high-speed railway for a shallow metro tunnel. Using the Guangzhou Metro line 9, which passes under the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, as an example, a 3-D numerical simulation analysis of the construction process was carried out in combination with the MJS method. The results show that pre-reinforcement by the MJS method can effectively control the stratum settlements caused by shield construction. Such measures as limiting train speeds, controlling parameters, and improving observational construction are put forward in order to ensure the safety of high-speed railway operation.
