Analysis on Deformation Induced by Advance Pre-reinforcement of Tunnel with Large Cross-section in Water-rich Sandy Rock Mass

Abstract Stratum extrusion deformation and advance displacement and crown settlement and convergence are studied in detail on basis of theoretical analysis and monitoring, with advance pre-reinforcement of Taoshuping large cross-section tunnel on Lanzhou-Chongqing railway as an example. The study shows that: (1) Primary maximum displacement velocity and the final displacement present positive correlation;(2) Crown settlement and convergence show obvious space effects;(3) Crown settlement is somehow connected with crown convergence. The applicability of the new technology is evaluated. The rules and characteristics reflected can provide references and guidance for the development of the mentioned technology.
