Construction Techniques Using Remolded Machinery on Mudstone Section of Humaling Tunnel

Abstract Based on the characteristics of mudstone in Humaling tunnel, the length of bucket teeth and contact area of excavator with surrounding rock were modified, and the problems of large disturbance of explosion in soft rocks, over-break and low efficiency of excavation by routine machinery were solved, with rapid construction of the tunnel realized.
