Abstract: This paper introduces the background of the revision of segment section of“Code for Construction and Acceptance of Shield Tunnelling Method: GB50446-2017”，analyzes its hierarchy, presents the main contents and reasons of the revision, summarizes the results of special research on breakthrough the specifications in 2008 edition regarding mould, main reinforcement connection and concrete slump closely related to the manufacturing quality and technique of steel concrete segment, guaranteeing the operability, practicability and advancement of the contents of segment section of the 2017 edition in order to provide guidance for the green, qualified and efficient manufacturing of segment and improve the quality of shield tunnels.
