Abstract:
This paper uses the shield-driven Shiziyang Tunnel, which passes through the Xiaohuli Waterway on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hongkong Passenger Dedicated Line, as an example to introduce engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions as well as their risk points, key aspects and difficulties. Meanwhile, it also presents such techniques as the configuration of shield cutters, slurry pressure control and treating system management, back grouting and prevention of grout running at the shield tail.
