Abstract:
One of the problems encountered in the construction of bored metro tunnels is water control. Since water will endanger the safety of the tunnel face and ground buildings, it is key to reinforce the tunnel face and control water in the water-rich sandy stratum and soft fractured stratum. The TGRM deep-hole grouting technique was applied in the construction of the bored tunnel section between the Antuoshan Station and Qiaoxiang Station of Lot 2222 of the Shenzhen Metro line 2, which passed underneath key pipelines and buildings. Results show that deep-hole grouting was effective for consolidation and water stopping. This paper describes the mechanism and features of deep-hole grouting as well as its effects.
